I am a Thai girl who was born in south Thailand, Nakhon Si Thammarat province and grown up in northeastern part of Thailand, province names  " Kalasin". To have 2 hometowns made me know deeply how people live within the same country but have different life styles and cultures even they speak the same official language. Most 30 years in my beloved hometown Thailand, I have seen how Thailand has been developed in many ways. But what Thailand has never changed is how people are so friendly and honestly. Probably what I mentioned above is not really true if you go to big cities or some tourist destinations in Thailand. But if you go to small cities and meet local people you still could feel Thailand like in the past 100 years. Local people are still live their life such as their forefather did, they still have simple life and their lives are not complicated. What I learned from them is life should not be really complicated. Somehow the world is too far to develop to make my life far from what it was. I live my life somehow close to machines in factories. The difference is just I can breath. Starting job daily at 8 am, sitting there for 8 hours at least, go home, find somethings at a shop nearby to eat, which I really have no clue how foods are prepared, no sport cause I have no time for it. Having less sleep cause my brain is still thinking about what I have to do tomorrow at work. My life turns like this from one day, to be one week, to be one month, to be one year, could be the rest of my life. And at the end I will be happy to say that have a quality life?. I am now wondering about it.

I try to kick myself from this circle, I start thinking what are really important to me to my life?  To have a lot of money, to have expensive bags, to have a new big car and etc.  Will I be really happy with all these? What I have learned from local people from where I came from is they do not have to have much. They are appreciated with what they have. They have their own vegetables, foods. What they have is even enough to share with their neighbors and communities. For make you to understand easily I give you a sample: there is a ceremony in a temple of a village. Every family will cook and bring their foods to join the ceremony. Some families do not even know what they will eat tomorrow cause they are poor. But they bring what they have. And if some family does mot have foods at all, they will show up there and help on other things such as cleaning, supporting and etc. This is what I call happiness cause they are happy doing these, they share their happiness and everyone who is around could also feel it. So, happiness does not always mean money or car. I start to realize that I am walking totally to the wrong direction. I came from the happiness place in the world, at lease in my own world. I do not hesitate saying these cause I was there and I am here. Therefore, I know the differences!.....Wwhat I was? I was a victim of companies, developing systems and economic systems. I did not even having time for myself. I was selling my soul for just a little money comparing what they earned from me. I was sick of it and sick of seeing myself like this.

But I am not regret for what I have done. I look at it as uncountable value experiences I have gained. If I have not done that, I would have not realize the differences. Thank for the companies, developing systems and economic systems for everything. You made me know, how my life worth is and probably I could give some good things back to people and the place where I am from.

As I mentioned before, I have seen local people, their lives. How they do things with passion and happiness. I would love to be a small part to support them to do what they love. I want to see them to live their life like that. I would love to be a small part to support them away from the globalize systems (close your eyes and imagine a big whale is open his mouth and suck all small prengton). I know it is not easy to do this but if I do not start I will not know it will work or not. And I know, not all of tourist who come to Thailand want to go to big cities and tourist destinations. You want to see Thailand as Thailand is as well. But between you as a tourist and local people there is still gab between such as communication and even big traveling companies in between.  Therefore, I would love to bring both of you close to each other, to see what you actually look for to see about Thailand. And moreover, you are a part of supporting them for doing what they love and to live their lives.
